Petals and Pathways provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from infancy through 10-year-olds. They can learn, grow, and thrive. Our approach is play-based and child-centered, focusing on supporting each child's unique developmental journey. We offer a variety of engaging activities designed to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth."

Infant 0 - 12months

Focus

During these precious early months, our care is centered on creating a safe, comforting, and stimulating environment. We focus on building trust and security through responsive caregiving and gentle interactions. We encourage sensory exploration through soft textures, sounds, and visual stimulation. We also support early motor development with activities like tummy time and reaching for toys, and foster early communication through cooing, babbling, and exposure to language.

Activities Include

Gentle rocking, singing songs and rhymes, reading board books, exploring textured toys, tummy time, reaching and grasping activities, and interactive play with caregivers.

Developmental Goals

Developing a sense of trust and security, reaching early motor milestones (rolling, sitting), responding to sounds and voices, and early language exposure.

Toddler Program 1-3 Years

Focus

This active stage is all about exploration and discovery! Our toddler program encourages independence, language development, and the growth of gross and fine motor skills. We provide ample opportunities for movement, social interaction, and early problem-solving through play.

Activities Include

Indoor and outdoor free play, simple puzzles, coloring with large crayons, building with blocks, dancing to music, learning the alphabet and colors through songs and games, picture book reading, short walks and exploration.

Developmental Goals

Expanding vocabulary and language skills, developing gross motor skills (walking, running, climbing), refining fine motor skills (grasping, stacking), learning basic social skills, recognizing colors and letters.

Preschool Program 3-5 Years

Focus

Our preschool program builds a foundation for future learning by fostering pre-literacy and pre-math skills, social-emotional development, creativity, and the ability to follow simple directions. We encourage curiosity and exploration through hands-on activities and group interactions.

Activities Include

More complex puzzles, drawing and painting, group storytelling and reading, creative movement and dance, structured learning of the alphabet and numbers, early math concepts (counting, shapes), organized indoor and outdoor play, circle time, arts and crafts.

Developmental Goals

Developing pre-reading skills (letter recognition, phonological awareness), understanding basic math concepts, enhancing social skills (sharing, cooperation), increasing independence and self-regulation, fostering creativity and imagination.

School-Age Program 5 -10 Year

Focus

For our school-age children, we provide a supportive and engaging environment that complements their school learning. We encourage continued social interaction, problem-solving, and independent learning through a variety of activities.

Activities Include

Age-appropriate games and puzzles, arts and crafts, reading independently and in groups, active outdoor play and sports, opportunities for homework support, board games, and creative projects.

Developmental Goals

Reinforcing academic skills, developing social skills and teamwork, improving problem-solving abilities, fostering independence and responsibility, encouraging creativity and critical thinking.
